Does SMF Offer A Full Line Of Metal Fabrication Processes?

The manufacturing processes that turn raw metal materials into products or components require a number of fabrication services, and we can perform the work under one roof, thanks to our investments in high-quality fabrication equipment. Some of the services we offer include:

  • Cutting – SMF cuts materials using laser cutters, saws and plasma cutters.
  • Forming and shaping – SMF can handle any hardness, thickness or footprint with our large array of press brake machines. We can bend components that are 28′ and require 880 tons of force, so we can meet all your requirements even for large or complex bends, with extreme accuracy. Our roll forming allows us to work with large pieces of metal, particularly complex shapes.
  • Welding – We have a seasoned welding team and a line of robotic welders, so we can handle any welding project of any size. We offer efficiency, cost, quality and on-time delivery.
  • Machining – We offer milling, turning, drilling and boring of just about any metal and even some other materials, such as certain plastics. We can mill parts more than 30’ long and 9’ wide.
  • Assembly – This process may include fastening, riveting, bolting, soldering or welding. Talk to us about our full capabilities of on-site assembly, including mass production of unique metal assemblies.
  • Finishing – As a final step, we offer special finishes to improve the appearance or durability. Our powder coating line can handle large projects. Our largest painting booth is 30’ long, 12’ wide and 10’ tall – so we can accommodate virtually any project.
